Chocolate cherry thumb print cookies recipe

1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1 3/4 cups quick cooking oats
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/4 cup coca powder
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
2/3 cup unsalted butter at room temp.
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 cups maraschino cherries

1. 1. In a bowl, add oats, flour, coca powder, baking powder, and salt. Mix to combine.
Set aside.

2. 2.In another bowl, add butter and sugar, mix together.

3. 3.Take half of chocolate chips, put in mirowaveable bowl, and put in mirowave till meleted: Like a min: and after 30 sec, you want to whisk them:

4. 4.In the butter/ sugar bowl, add eggs, vanilla extract; mix.

5. 5. Add meleted chocolate: mix to combine.

6. 6. Add dry Ingredients in bowl: mix.

7. 7.Take plastic wrap, cover it, and put in fridge for 1 hour;

8. 8.preheat oven to 350*. Take cherries, drain them, and line with paper towel:

9. 9.On a nonstick baking sheet, take a small ice cream scooper ( 1 TBSP) and place them on a baking sheet.

10. 10.Take your thumb, and make a little index: in each cookie: and in the middle, add cherry.

11. 11.Put in oven, for 12 mins. let cool completely
