Chocolate cupcakes w/ buttercream frosting recipe

1/2 cup unsalted butter at room temp.
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 egg
1/2 cup coca powder
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp instant espresso powder
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
3/4 cup buttermilk

(for the buttercream;)
1 1/4 cups of unsalted butter, at room temp.
4 1/4 cups powdered sugar
1 Tbsp vanilla extract
2 Tbsp milk

1. 1. Preheat oven to 350*. Line a 12 peice cupcake tin with liners, and set aside.

2. 2.In a bowl, add butter& sugars. Using a whisk, cream together.

3. 3. Add egg and vanilla extract. mix.

4. 4.Add dry Ingredients in bowl. mix to combine.

5. 5.Add buttermilk; mix to combine.

6. 6.Take Ice cream scooper, and divide batter. Put in oven 350*, 20 mins. Let cool completely before frosting.

7. ( for frosting:)

8. 1. In a standing mixer, add butter, sugar, and vanilla extract.

9. 2. Mix on low, till combined.

10. 3.While motor running, add milk. TBSP at a time. Scoop into a bowl. take a piping bag,and froast cupcakes.

11. 4.Take a bar of chocolate and vegetable peeler ( dont ask..) and create curls, and put on top
