3 cups all-purpose flour
2 tsp ground ginger
2 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp ground cloves
1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 cups unsalted butter at room temp.
1 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup molasses: *make sure you spray your cup with non stick spray so it comes out ewsier*
1 egg

(For royal icing:)
4 cups confectioner sugar
3 egg whites

1. 1. In a standing mixer, add butter and brown sugar: mix till a min.

2. 2.Add egg, and Molasses. Mix another 30 sec.

3. 3. Start adding dry Ingredients at a time, then mix till Incorporated.

4. 4.Flour table: put dough on table: flour dough a little: pull together.

5. 5.Cover with plastic wrap; put in fridge for an hour:

6. 6.Preheat oven to 350* Line (2) baking sheets with parchment paper.

7. 7.Take 2 parchment paper: take one peice, sprinkle with lightly flour:
take dough, and cut in half. Sprinkle dough with flour. Take other parchement paper on top, of dough, and take rolling pin, and roll out.

8. 8.Take gingerbread cookie cutter, dip in flour, and cut out on dough, and put on baking sheet.
9.Put in oven 10 mins till golden brown. Let cool on wired rack.

9. 10. (For Icing:)

10. 1. In a standing mixer, add egg whites; medium high. Beat till nice and froasty.

11. 2.Reduce to low, and start adding sugar.

12. 3.Once incorputed, put on medium high and whisk 2 to 3 mins.
4.Pour Icing in piping bag.

13. 5.Decorate gingerbread cookies. Let dry before serving.
