Paaye (Cow's Trotters) of Amnah Khan - Recipefy

2 trotters of a cow
2 kg bong
4 onions, medium size
1 1/2 garlics, 15 cloves
3 inches ginger, two pieces
4 tbsp coriander powder
1/2 tsp tumeric powder
2 tbsp red chilli powder
1 tsp salt (or as per taste)
1 bay leaf
1 cinnamon stick
12 blackppercorns
12 cloves
2 black cardamoms
1 tsp black cumin seeds
2 cups ghee (or as required)
Coriander leaves (optional)
Green chillies (optional)

Prep. Time → 18 min

1. Boil the cow's trotters overnight in a salty water. Boil bong meat for an hour in salty water, till the meat becomes tender. Grind together onions, garlic cloves, ginger, coriander powder, tumeric powder, red chilli powder and salt. Heat ghee in a pan and fry bay leaf, cinnamon stick, cloves, black peppercorns, black cardamom and black cumin seeds. Pour in the grinded mixture and add a little boiled stew bit by bit. Then put all of it in the big stove stew and cook till the oil separates from the mixture. Cow's trotters are ready to be served.
