1 cup milk ¼ cup sugar 1 tsp. salt ¼ cup oleo, ½ stick 2 pkg. yeast 2 eggs, beaten 5 ¼ cup flour ½ cup warm water

1. Scald milk; stir in sugar, salt and oleo. Cool to lukewarm Measure warm water into large warm bowl. Sprinkle yeast and 2 tsp. sugar, stir until dissolved. Add lukewarm milk mixture, eggs, and 2 cups flour. Beat until smooth. Stir in remaining flour to make soft dough. Turn out on lightly floured board; knead until smooth and elastic; about 8 to 10 minutes. Place in greased bowl burning to grease top. Cover; let rise in warm place, free from draft, until double in bulk, about 10 minutes. Punch down, shape as desired. Let rise, then bake.
