Puffed Rice Granola Bars

Ingredientes
4 cups Arrowhead Mills Puffed Rice Cereal
1/2 cup Bobs Red Mill Gluten Free Oats
1.5 cups Krema Organic Peanut Butter (or your favorite nut butter)
1 cup Organic Honey (agave or maple syrup may be used to sub)
1/4 cup sliced almonds
1/2 cup dark chocolate chips, divide in half
Optional add-ins:
Shredded coconut
Dried Fruit, I love dried cranberries or cherries
*Depending on how sticky you like the bars to be add more or less peanut butter or honey to the mixture, more chocolate can also be added for a more desert like effect.

1 In a large bowl mix the Puffed Rice, Oats, Almonds, and half of the Chocolate chips together.
Melt Peanut butter and Honey together in a sauce pan stirring constantly to keep from burning.
Pour over top of the cereal mixture.
2 Pour mixture into a 9x13 inch pan and press down with the back of a spoon or spatula until a flat surface is achieved.
3 In a glass bowl, melt the remaining chocolate chips until smooth, checking every 30 seconds.
Drizzle over the top of the bars and let cool.
4 Once the bars are set, cut into squares and store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks of enjoyment :)
