2 cups sugar 3 Tbsp. cocoa 2 cups flour ½ cup buttermilk ½ tsp. salt 1 tsp. soda 1 cup water 3 eggs ½ cup Crisco 1 tsp. vanilla 1 stick oleo Preheat oven to 325. Mix sugar, flour and salt together. Set aside. Place Crisco, oleo, cocoa and water in a saucepan. Bring to a good boil. Pour liquid mixture over dry ingredients mixing well. Add the buttermilk soda, eggs and vanilla to the above. Pour into a floured and greased 9x13 pan and bake for 30 minutes. Chocolate Sheath Cake Icing 1 stick oleo 1 box powdered sugar 2 to 3 Tbsp. cocoa 6 Tbsp. milk 1 tsp. vanilla 1 cup chopped pecans

1. In a saucepan, put oleo, cocoa and vanilla and bring to a boil. Add powdered sugar, milk and pecans. Mix well. Pour over hot cake.
