2 sticks of butter or margarine 1 cup blanched or chopped almonds 1 cup sugar 1 Tbsp. Karo syrup 1 Tbsp. water

1. Cook over medium heat stirring constantly until a shade darker than light brown sugar or until hardens when dropped in cold water, about 20 minutes. Spread this on cookie sheet. Break 4 Hershey bars on top and let melt. When melted, spread evenly on cooked mixture. Sprinkle with chopped almonds. When cool put in refrigerator, then break into pieces and store in closed container.
