Apple pie coffee cake recipe

(for the cake:)
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
2 tsp ground cinnamon
2 tsp vanilla extract
1 1/4 cups milk
2 eggs
1/2 cup unsalted butter at room temp.
1/2 tsp orange zest
2 apples, peeled and diced
2 tsp vanilla extract

(For the crumb topping:)
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup granulated sugar
2 Tbsp all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp cinnamon
3 Tbsp cold unsalted butter

1. 1. Preheat oven to 375*. Spray a 9x13 baking pan with non stick spray, and set aside.

2. 2.In a standing mixer, add the granulated sugar and butter; mix. then add vanilla extract and eggs.

3. 3.In the bowl with the dry Ingredients, stir together and set aside.

4. 4.In a standing mixer, add orange zest; mix.

5. 5.In a small bowl, combine all the Ingredients for the topping together till crumb texture.

6. 6.In standing mixer, add flour, but leave some aside; add cut apples in it. mix together.

7. 7.Mix standing mixer, and add milk at a time, and add dry apples in standing mixer. mix.

8. 8.Take off standing mixer, and pour in baking pan; spread even.

9. 9.Take crumb topping, and spread on top. Put in oven for 45 mins, and let cool for an half- hour before cutting and serving.
