Asian seared scallops

-5 or 6 sea scallops, washes and drained
-half a clove of minced garlic
-about a teaspoon of red pepper flakes, to taste
-4 tablespoons soy sauce
-1 tablespoon rice vinegar
-salt
-pepper
-rice noodles
-olive oil

Prep. Time → 15 min

Cook Time → 5 min

1. Boil water and cook rice noodles according to directions

2. Combine soy sauce, garlic, red pepper flakes, rice vinegar

3. Season both sides of scallops with salt and pepper

4. Lightly coat bottom of sautee pan with olive oil and put over medium-high heat

5. Once pan is hot, add scallops and cook for about two minutes on each side, or until the scallop is mostly opaque with a slightly translucent center

6. Add sauce mixture to pan and toss scallops in sauce for about one minute to combine

7. Serve scallops and sauce over rice noodles

8. Enjoy!
