Bean & cheese dip

1 package cream cheese
1 cup sour cream
2 cans refried beans (with chilis is best)
1 package taco seasoning mix
1 tbsp hot pepper or chili sauce
2 tablespoons dried parsley
A 1/2 tsp each of salt, pepper & chili powder
2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
2 cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese
4 chopped green onions
1/2 head of iceburg lettuce

Prep. Time → 20 min

Cook Time → 25 min

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a medium bowl, blend the cream cheese (it's easier if you microwave it for 30 seconds first) and sour cream. Mix in the refried beans, taco seasoning, hot pepper sauce, parsley, 1/2 the green onions, 1/2 the Cheddar cheese and 1/2 the Monterey Jack cheese. Transfer the mixture to an 8x12 inch baking dish. Top with remaining Cheddar and Monterey Jack cheeses.
Bake in the preheated oven 20 to 30 minutes, until cheese is slightly browned.
After slightly cooled, add lettuce and the rest of the green onions.
