Bread and butter pickles

5 cups Cucumber -sliced thick or thin
1 large Vidalia Onion - sliced or chopped
1/4 cup Brown Sugar
1 cup Sugar
1/2 tsp Celery Seed
1/4 tsp Turmeric
2 tsp Mustard Seed
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 cup Cider Vinegar
2 cup White Vinegar

Prep. Time → 90 min

Cook Time → 5 min

1. Salt cucumber and refrigerate for 1 1/2 hours.

2. Add onions, rinse, and pack into jars.

3. Bring everything else just to a boil, stirring often, and remove from heat.

4. Let mixture cool for 5 minutes.

5. Pour mixture into jars, seal lids, and let cool.

6. Refrigerate at least 24 hours. Will keep for 3 weeks.
