Bread Pudding. of David Le Mottee - Recipefy

6oz of stale white bread.
Half a pint of milk.
2oz chopped candied peel.
2oz Deemerara suger.
1 level teaspoon of cinnamon.
Caster sugar for sprinkling.
8oz of Cooking apples.
4oz raisins.
2oz melted butter.
1-1 & half Level teaspoons of mixed spice.
1 egg.

Prep. Time → 35 min min

Cook Time → 1 hour min

1. Set oven at 180
Put bread and milk to soak.
Peeland and grate the apples.
Add to the bread the raisins, candied peel, and butter.
Mix suger and spices , then add the egg.
Mix well.
Spoon into prepared tin and spread level.
Bake above the centre of the oven for about 1 hour or until firm and golden brown.
Sprinkle with caster suger.
Leave to cool before cutting into slices.
