Brownies of Aleks - Recipefy

185 g unsalted butter, cut into small cubes
185 g dark chocolate (or cooking chocolate), cut into small cubes
85 g flour, sifted
40 g cocoa powder, sifted
100 g milk chocolate (white chocolate or any combination of the two), cut into 1cm cubes
3 large eggs
175 g golden caster sugar (or icing sugar), sifted

Prep. Time → 25 min

Cook Time → 40 min

1. Preheat the oven to 170C degrees.

2. Melt botter and dark chocolate over a saucepan of boiling water. Once melted, set aside to cool to room temerature.

3. In a bedium bowl sift flour and cocoa powder.

4. In a separate bowl with an electric mixer, mix eggs and sugar until they look creamy and light coloured. It takes up to 10 minutes.

5. Pour cooled chocolate mixture over the eggy mixture, gently fold together (very slowly, moving the spatula in the 8-shape). The mixture should be dark brown.

6. Resift the flour cocoa mixture to the bowl of eggy chocolate mixture. Add the mixture gradually, gently folding the powders using the same figure of 8 action. Do not overdo the mixing.

7. Stir in the milk chocolate.

8. Pour the mixture into a tin (22cm x 22cm) lined with greased parchment paper.

9. Bake for 30 - 40 minutes.

10. Cut into peaces, only after its completely cooled.
