Butter Rolls of Judy Walton - Recipefy

3 cups Pioneer Biscuit Mix
1 cup of milk
3/4 stick of softened butter
3/4 cup of sugar

Sauce
1 1/2 cups of sugar
4 1/2 heaping tablespoons of flour
1 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla
3 cups of water
1/2 stick of butter

1. Mix biscuit mix and milk until well blended. Put out on well floured surface. Knead 10 times. Roll out thin to a rectangle. Spread with softened butter. Sprinkle with sugar. Roll up like a jelly roll. Cut 1 inch thick pieces. Place in a well buttered pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 - 20 minutes.

2. Sauce:
Mix sugar and flour together. Add water. Cook on medium heat until slightly thickened. Add butter and vanilla. Stir until butter is melted.

3. Pour sauce over hot rolls.
