Butterscotch pie

6 Tablespoons butter
2 eggs, beaten
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup brown sugar
2 Tablespoons cornstarch
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups milk
3 Tablespoons flour

1. Bake a 9" pie crust and cool completely.
Cook together butter and brown sugar, add the milk and egg yolks only.
Stir in cornstarch, flour and salt and cook until thickened.
Take off heat and stir in vanilla. Pour into shell and chill until ready to serve.
