Candied tomatoes of urshy - Recipefy

5 California Tomatoes, sliced into about 5 sections each
¾ cup brown sugar

1. Preheat oven to 175-180C.
Line a rimmed cookie sheet with parchment paper.
Cut tomatoes into slices. Each one should produce about 5 slices.
Pour sugar into a medium sized bowl. Start with about ½ of what you need and add more as you go.
Dunk the tomatoes in the sugar on both sides. Lay tomato on pan. Continue with all the tomatoes.
Pop the cookie sheet in the oven and cook for about 45 to 60 minutes, then turn the tomatoes over. Continue to cook for about 15 to 30 minutes more. You want the tomatoes to start to caramelize and turn an amber colour.
Remove and allow to cool a bit. Peel off the parchment and lay on a platter till you're ready for them.

2. *ko se ohladijo paradižnike zmelji z olivnim oljem, daj v lonček ter pokrij z oljem in shrani za razne omake, pice itd. 1 žlička da mesni omaki fantastičen okus.
