Cheesy Bean Cobbler. of David Le Mottee - Recipefy

840g of canned beans
7 0z of salf-raising flour
salt and freshly ground black pepper
2 oz of butter, diced
5 0z of cheddar cheese, grated
5 oz of plan yoghurt
fresh thyme, to garnish

Prep. Time → 10 min min

Cook Time → 40 min

1. Preheat the oven to 190
Tip the beans into a baking dish and set aside.

2. Sift the flour int a bowl, add seasoning,
then rub in the butter until the mixture looks
like crumbs.
Stir in half the cheese.

3. Mix the yoghurt with 2fl oz of cold watrer, then stir into
the flour mixture to make a sticky dough.
Spoon rough dollops on top of the beans and scatter the remaining
cheese on top.

4. Bake in the oven for 35-40 minutes until the cobbler topping
is risen, firm and golden.
Garnish with fresh thyme.
