6oz unsalted Butter
2oz soft dark brown sugar
3 1/2 oz golden syrup
8oz porridge oats
3oz pecan nuts
2oz crystallised ginger, chopped
3oz glace cherries, quartered

Directions
1. Preheat the oven to 200c
2. Grease and line a 8in round sandwich tin
3. Melt the butter, sugar & golden syrup
4. Add all remaining ingredients and mix well
5. Spoon into the tin and spread evenly
6. Bake for 25 mins
7. Cool then cut into triangles
