1 pound ground beef
1 pound ground sausage
2 large onions, chopped
4 cloves garlic, crushed
4 medium celery stalks, chopped
32 ounces diced tomatoes
4 to 6 tablespoons chili powder
1 tablespoon salt
2 teaspoons sugar
2 teaspoons Worchestershire sauce
1 teaspoon red pepper sauce
30 ounces kidney beans, drained

1. Cook hamburger, sausage, onion and garlic in a 6-quart saucepan until hamburger is light brown; drain.

2. Stir in tomatoes with liquid, celery, chili powder, salt, sugar, Worcestershire sauce, and red pepper sauce. Heat to boiling; reduce heat. Cover and simmer one hour.

3. Stir in beans. Heat to boiling; reduce heat. Simmer uncovered until hot, about 15 minutes.
