Chocolate crumb cake muffins recipe

1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup cocoa powder
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp instant espresso powder
1 cup confectioner sugar
2 whole eggs
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened at room temp.
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup whole milk
1/4 cup sour cream

(for the topping:)
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup granulated sugar
2 Tbsp flour
1/2 tsp cinnamon
2 Tbsp COLD unsalted butter: cut into tiny peices

Prep. Time → 15 min

Cook Time → 20 min

1. 1.preheat oven to 375*.

2. 2. In a muffin tin, spray with non stick spray and line with muffin liners:

3. 3.In a mixer, add the 1 stick of butter and sugar. Cream together: Add eggs, and vanilla extract. mix again:

4. 4.Add sour cream and milk: mix again.

5. 5.Mix dry ingredients together, and add in mixer.

6. 6.Mix together: put batter in muffin tins.

7. 7.In a bowl, mix the topping ingredients together: and crush the butter till crumbly.

8. 8. Sprinkle topping mixture, on top of muffins.

9. 9.Put in oven 375*, 20 mins till cook all the way through
