2 cups sugar 3/4 tsp. soda 1 cup light cream 1 1/2 Tbsp. butter 2 cups nuts

1. In a large boiler combine soda and sugar. Mix well; stir in cream. Bring to a boil. Turn heat down. Cook and stir until soft ball stage, 234 degrees. Remove from heat. Add butter and stir in nuts. Beat 2 to 3 minutes. Drop on wax paper. If it gets too stiff, add 1 Tbsp. hot water.
