Fry Bread of Ashley - Recipefy

4-cups flour
2-cups milk
6 Tbsp sugar
4 Tbsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
Cooking oil or shortening

1. Mix sugar, baking powder, salt, milk and flour in a bowl

2. Divide the dough into 3 sections

3. Use a rolling pin to roll each sectionof dough on a floured surface

4. Cut the rolled dough into strips. Cut a slit on each strip

5. Add oil or shortening to a pan. Heat the pan

6. Drop a smaller piece of dough in the pan. When the dough rises to the surface the oil is hot enough.

7. Fry the strips until they are golden brown. Dry the strips on a towel
