Garlic Roasted Broccoli of Schalene Dagutis - Recipefy

2 heads of broccoli, cut into florets
3 tbsp olive oil
5 cloves of garlic, minced
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1 tsp lemon juice
Pinch of red pepper flakes (optional)

1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.

2. In a large bowl, toss the broccoli with olive oil, salt, black pepper and garlic. Spread the broccoli in a single layer on a rimmed baking sheet.

3. Bake until florets are tender enough to pierce with a fork and the edges are browning, about 15 minutes. Turn once halfway through the baking process and add red pepper flakes, if using. After baking, squeeze lemon juice liberally over the broccoli before serving.

Broccoli is my favorite veggie as it is one of the healthiest food item to consume. I personally like to eat garlic grilled broccoli. This veggie is full of all essential nutrients and from all age group of person can consume this healthy food item. The Recipe that you have shard here about garlic grilled recipe is really awesome and i would like to try it at my home soon. I just wanted to ask one question that can we use black pepper instead of red pepper as i am allergic to red pepper. So, Can i use black place instead of red pepper?
