Green smoothie

tbsp = tablespoon; tsp = teaspoon

3 cups water
3 dates (or 1/2 tsp stevia, or 1/4 cup agave)
1 tbsp coconut oil
5 cups greens (usually mix spinach with: chard, kale, collards, bok choy etc. If the greens are bitter, use agave)

--- fruit options
1 banana
1-2 cups berries (blueberries and strawberries make a nice mix)
1/2 cup papaya (or mango, or pear, or apple)

--- chocolate option
1 tbsp raw chocolate nibs

---Optional power boosters
1 tbsp chia seeds
1 tbsp goji berries
2 tbsp hemp seed
1-2 scoops protein powder (suggesteed: Sun warrior or hemp powder or source of life (latter has 200 mg b12 -- 3330% daily requirement). Additives add 26 grams of protein

---Other options
soaked nuts
soy/coconut yoghurt

1. Puree greens in water with dates and coconut oil (first on low then high until smooth.)

2. Stop and add fruit and supplements.

3. When all else blended, an option is to add 1 tbsp raw chocolate nibs.
Blend on low briefly (for mixing- adds a nice option to chew)
