How to make basic pie crust recipe

1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
5 Tbsp COLD butter: cut into cubes
1/4 cup COLD vegatable shortening, cut into cubes
1/2 tsp salt
1 3 to 5 tbsp of cold ice water: with ice cubes

1. *Pumpkin pie, apple pie, etc.*

2. *Put flour in fridge, for an hour. Water in freezer, for 10 mins. Butter back in fridge, to make sure it's hardened and cold.

3. 1. In a food processor, add flour and salt. Turn on, and pluse once.

4. 2.Add shortening and butter. Pluse 10 times, till butter is the size of peas.

5. 3.With a Tbsp measure, pluse while add TBSP ICE cold water; till dough sticks together.

6. 4.FLour; table; put dough on table, and form into a ball. Take plastic wrap, cover it, and put in fridge 30 mins before use
