Mutter Paneer Kurma of Kitchen Snippets - Recipefy

Paneer/cottage cheese-1/2 cup cut into cubes
Peas or matar - 1 cup (soaked overnight)
Turmeric powder-1/4 tspn
Red chili powder-1/2 tspn
Garam masala powder-1/4 to 1/2 tspn
Coriander powder-1 tspn
Cumin seeds-1/4 tspn
Water-2 cups
Coriander leaves chopped
Salt
Oil

For the masala paste

Tomatoes-3 medium
Onion-1 large chopped
Green chilli-1 chopped
Ginger-1'inch piece
Garlic-2-3 podes

1. Grind all the ingredients listed under for masala paste.Keep aside.

2. Heat oil in a pan and shallow fry paneer cubes till they becomes light brown.Transfer to another pan. Heat oil in a pressure cooker.
Splutter cumin seeds.Add the ground paste.Saute till the raw smell goes.Now add the masala powders and saute till the oil separates.Add peas,2 cups water,enough salt .Cover and cook till the peas is cooked well.
( approx. 3-4 whisles).Now open the cooker and add paneer cubes and coriander leaves.Cover and cook for 2-3 more mints.Remove from fire and serve.
