Orange rolls recipe

1 package of dry yeast
3/4 cup whole milk
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup water
1/4 tsp vanilla extract
1 egg
1 tsp salt
1/4 cup unsalted butter: melted
4 cups all-purpose flour
1/4 cup of melted butter: to brush over the top before baking

(for the filling:)
1/3 cup unsalted butter at room temp.
3/4 cup granulated sugar
2 orange zest

(for the glaze:)
1/4 cup cream cheese at room temp.
1 Tbsp butter, at room temp.
1 1/4 cups powdered sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
3 Tbsp juice of orange, about 1/2 cup

1. 1. In a sauce pan, warm up milk and water till warm:

2. 2.when warm, put in large measuring cup. Add tsp of sugar: sprinkle yeast on top. Set aside:

3. 3.In a mixer bowl, add flour, sugar, and salt in bowl.

4. 4.when yeast is activated in measuring cup, add melted butter in it. Add egg, vanilla extract: whisk.

5. 5.pour cup in mixer bowl. Mix together till combine.

6. 6.In a glass bowl, oil it with vegetable oil. Take pastry brush, and brush oil on dough both sides.

7. 7.Cover with plastic wrap, and put it in warm place for an hour till double in size.
8. take a rectangle baking dish, and butter it with butter: set aside.
9.flour table, and put dough on table. With rolling pin, roll it like in rectangle.

8. 10.Take really soft butter, and spread all over top: zest orange zest on top, and sprinkle sugar on top. (and there my friend, what makes it a orange roll)

9. 11.Roll the dough, jelly roll style: at the end, pinch it together to hold. At the ends, tuck in.

10. 12.cut into 16 rolls, and pinch ends together and put in the buttered pan facing up.

11. 13.Get a kitchen towel, and put over baking dish, and let it rise again (hour) till double size.

12. 14.preheat oven to 350*. Brush melted butter on top of them.

13. 15.In oven, for a half hour (30 mins) till golden brown:

14. 16.In a bowl, add soft cream cheese: sugar, vanilla extract, and juice of an orange. Mix with mixer: add more juice of orange if necessary: till thick and creamy.

15. 17.take glaze and drizzle over orange rolls.
