penne vodka pasta with chicken recipe

12 oz chicken breast, cut into bite size peices
4 Tbsp olive oil
1 small onion, chopped
2 cloves of garlic, minced
1 pinch of hot pepper flakes
1 tsp dried oregano
1/2 tsp dried basil
1 tsp granulated garlic
1 tsp granulated onion
1/2 cup vodka
1 can of crushed tomatoes
1/2 cup heavy cream
1 fresh basil
1/4 cup fresh grated Mozzeralla cheese
1 salt and pepper
12 oz uncooked penne pasta

Prep. Time → 10 min

Cook Time → 45 min

1. 1. In a skillet with olive oil, on medium high heat, add chicken in skillet: season with salt and pepper. Cook till it develops color: take out of skillet, and set aside.

2. 2. In The same skillet, add more olive oil: add onion and garlic: cook till delvop color: add salt a little:

3. 3. Add vodka: stir. Let reduced by half: add crushed tomatoes: give a good stir.

4. 4.Add spice mixture: stir in. Cover half with lid, and put on medium low to 35 mins, till thick:

5. 5. When done, add heavy cream and add back chicken: stir. Let simmer 8 to 9 mins.

6. 6.add pasta to boiling water:

7. 7. When pasta is done and drained, add the sauce mixture to pasta pot. Add fresh basil, and Mozzeralla. Stir together.

8. 8. Serve pasta in bowl
