Pepper Steak of Ashley - Recipefy

2 lbs steak
4 Tbsp oil
1/2 cup onion
1/2 cup chopped celery
garlic
salt
5 green peppers
1 cup boiling water
1 beef cube
2 Tbsp corn starch
1/2 cup water
2 Tbsp soy sauce
White rice

Cook Time → 17 min

1. Cut steak in narrow strips
In a large frying pan on stovetop, brown the steak in oil, then add onion, green pepper, celery, salt and garlic
Cover pan and cook until tender (approx. 10 min)
Add beef broth (beef cube and boiling water) and recover
Cook over low heat for 5 minutes

2. In a separate bowl, mix cornstarch and cold water. Add soy sauce
Stir well and add into pan. Bring to boiling point. Cook for 2 minutes

3. Serve over white rice.
