Popovers of joan+genevieve - Recipefy

8 ounces milk
4 ounces eggs (2 lrg eggs)
4 ounces flour (scant cup)
1 tsp salt to taste
2 ounces butter (1/2 stick), melted, or canola oil

Prep. Time → 40 min

Cook Time → 30 min

1. Place a popover pan in the oven. Preheat oven to 450 degrees

2. Whisk milk and eggs until uniformly combined

3. Add flour and salt, stir to combine

4. Allow the batter to sit for 30 minutes (or longer) for the flour to bloom or hydrate

5. Remove pan from oven, place a couple teaspoons of butter in each cup, and fill each cup with batter.

6. Bake 10 minutes, then reduce the heat to 375 and continue baking until done (20-30 minutes)
