Potato soup

1 stick butter
2 cups diced onion
6 cups cubed potatos
1 tsp curry powder
2 bay leaves
salt
pepper
1/4 cup parsley
8 cups chicken broth
4 cups milk

1. soften onions in butter
add curry parsley and bay leaves with potatos to broth
simmer for 1 1/2 hours
add milk,salt and pepper
cook an additional 15 minutes
