1 x White Baguette
Spanish 'Garrotxa' cheese BUY
1 x Pot of Fig Jam BUY
100g Pack of Spanish Serrano Ham

Cook Time → 20 min

1. 1. Pre-heat the oven at 200C degrees for 10 minutes.

2. 2. Meanwhile, slice the baguette into thin round slices, 1 finger width.

3. 3. Lay out your sliced bread on a bread board / large tray.

4. 4. Slice the Spanish Garrotxa cheese into thin slices, cutting the rind off each slice and place the slices on each piece of bread.

5. 5. Leave under the grill for 5-10minutes depending on how powerful your grill is. You want the cheese to start bubbling and turning slightly brown in colour.

6. 6. Slice the Serrano Ham into 1cm x 4cm pieces.

7. 7. Place a piece of ham onto each toast under the grill and continue grilling for a few more minutes until the Serrano ham is warmed through.

8. 8. Remove all toasts from the grill and allocate a small teaspoonful of fig jam on top of the toasts.

9. 9. Leave to cool for a few minutes before eating as the cheese is very hot!
