Sesame-Ginger Chicken Meatballs of Kelly Barton - Recipefy

avocado oil for brushing
1 lb ground chicken ( I did half with ground turkey thigh for more flavour and moistness)
1/2 cup plain dry bread crumbs
1/3 cup minced green onions, plus thinly sliced green onion for garnish if desired
3 tbsps minced peeled fresh ginger
1 large egg
2 garlic cloves minced ( I use more of course)
2 tsps toasted sesame oil
2 tsps soy sauce
1/4 tsp salt
Asian sweet chile sauce, for serving (I use Thai Kitchen, Sweet Red Chili)

1. Preheat the oven to 425 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. In a large bowl mix together the ingredients except for the avocado oil and chili sauce. Form mixture into 1 1/2 inch balls and arrange on the baking sheet. Brush the meatballs with the avocado oil and bake for about 25 to 30 minutes, until browned and cooked through.

3. Serve meatballs with the chili sauce to dip in.

4. I served with rice and steamed veggies Yummy! Or you could make lettuce wraps with them as well.
