Siomai (Filipino style) of Kim Lim - Recipefy

1 and half table spoon oyster sauce
2 table spoon salt
1 table spoon pepper
100 gram shrimp
1 piece carrot
1 piece egg
1 onion
1 onion leaks
1 table spoon sesame oil
500 grams ground pork
wanton wrapper

Prep. Time → 10 min

Cook Time → 20 min

1. 1. Chop carrots and onion into bits
2. chop onion leaks in small pieces
3. Chop shrimps into small pieces
3. In a bowl combine ground pork, carrots, onion, onion leaks, salt and pepper, shrimp and egg until well distributed.
4. Separate wrappers into individual sheets. Spoon a heaping tablespoonful of meat mixture on the middle of the wrapper and then gather sides to form a "cup" around the filling. Repeat with the remaining mixture.
5. Arrange siomai in a single layer about 1/4-inch apart on steamer basket and steam for about 15 to 20 minutes or until cooked through. Gently remove from steamer
6. Make 25-30 pcs. of siomai.
7. Prepare and enjoy (good with garlic chili sauce)
