2.5-3 lbs of boneless beef (chuck roast)
½ cup beef broth
⅓ cup soy sauce
½ cup brown sugar, packed
1 tablespoon rice vinegar
1 tablespoon sesame oil
2 tablespoons garlic-chili paste
4 cloves of garlic, minced
1 small onion, diced or thinly sliced
8 oz mushrooms (optional)

Prep. Time → 10 min

Cook Time → 600 min

1. Put chuck roast into the crock of a slow cooker; add other ingredients (can whisk together in bowl beforehand if desired).

2. Cook on High for 8 hours (or on Low for 10 hours). Shred meat with a pair of forks and stir into the liquid in the slow cooker
