Soft lemon sugar cookies

Ingredients

1 cup Butter, cold, cut into cubes
2 cups Sugar
2 Eggs
2 teaspoons Vanilla
1 Tablespoon Fresh Lemon Juice
1 Tablespoon Lemon Zest
3 cups Flour
11/2 teaspoons Baking Powder
¼ teaspoon Baking Soda
½ teaspoon Salt
Icing
1 Cup Powdered Sugar
¼ Cup Milk
½ tsp. Vanilla

Easy

Directions

1. Cream Butter, Sugar, Vanilla, then slowly add eggs and lemon juice and zest
Combine Flour, Baking Powder, & Salt in a bowl
Slowly add into Butter Mixture and mix well
Roll dough into balls and place on a parchment lined baking sheet
Bake for 10-12 minutes at 350 degrees
Drizzle with Vanilla Icing Mixture
