SpagBeanie of Colin Bentham - Recipefy

pasta, any will do
1 tin baked beans
Tomato Puree
Tyme
Oregano
Basil
Parsley
Salt
Pepper
water
Bread slices
Cheese (optional)

Prep. Time → 4 min

Cook Time → 20 min

1. basically I just chuck everything in the pot and let the stove look after it.

2. Start by adding the pasta and covering with water. then place on the stove on a low to medium heat. Then add the beans, any make will do really the kids don't mind.

3. Follow that up with the seasoning. salt & Pepper to taste. then add the herbs.

4. I like to get it to the point when its just beginning to boil. then add the tomato Puree. mix this in then turn the heat down low. and allow to simmer for about 20 minutes. stirr occasionnaly.

5. I like to make it very tomatoey for the kids so add tomato puree until you get a nice orangie red colour without much liquid left.

6. toast the bread slices and pour the mix over the bread. You can use a cheese grater to sprinkle some cheese over the top if they want it.

7. this is enough to feed 4 twins and me :)

8. note: remember to cut the bread into soldiers, slices, quarters etc. I forgot first time and we had a whole slice picked up with a fork. good job we had plenty
