Spaghetti Sauce and Meatballs of Maggie White - Recipefy

Sauce
1/2 lb hamburger
1- 28 oz can tomato puree
1- 28 can stewed tomatoes (blend first)
1- 12 oz tomato paste
1 glove minced garlic
1 tsp basil
1 tsp salt
1 tsp sugar
1/4 tsp pepper
1 small yellow onion
1 cup red wine

Meatballs
1 lb hamburger
1 lb pork
1/2 cup Italian bread crumbs
1 egg
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper

Prep. Time → 30 min

Cook Time → 140 min

1. Sauce:
In a large sauce pan saute garlic and onion

2. Add 1/2 lb hamburger to pan and brown

3. Add all the remaining ingredients to the pan.

4. Simmer 2 hours

5. Meatballs:
Mix hamburger, pork, bread crumbs, egg, salt and pepper.

6. Form into 1 1/2 inch balls

7. Bake in a preheated 350 oven for 15 - 20 minutes

8. Add to sauce (make sure grease is drained from meatballs before adding to sauce) and continue simmering in the sauce
