Lemon grass beef stew

2 quarts beef broth
5 lbs stew beef
4 leaves lemon grass
1 teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon red pepper
I tablespoon white flour
1cup corn oil
1teapoon soy sauce
1 teaspoon sake
Vorb. Zeit → 30 minutes Min.
Koch Zeit → 4 hours Min.
1. heat corn oil in pan until it smokes
fry beef in hot oil place in bottom of deep pot
add beef broth
bring to a boil reduce to simmer
add lemon grass continue to simmer add cumin sake and soy sauce continue simmering add red pepper allow to simmer 2 hours more
in the last 10 minutes of cooking add flour to thicken stew serve hot
