Bourbon chicken

3 lbs boneless skinless chicken thighs
3 tbsp corn starch
1 clove garlic
Salt and pepper
Green onions, sliced (optional)
SAUCE
1/2 tsp fresh ginger, grated
4 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 tsp chili flakes
1/3 cup Apple juice or cider
2 tbsp honey
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup ketchup
3 tbsp cider vinegar
1/4 cup water
1/4 cup bourbon
1/4 cup soy sauce
1. Mix all sauce ingredients in a small bowl.
2. Season chicken thighs with salt and pepper. In a large skillet or Dutch oven brown chicken on all sides. Add sauce, and simmer until chicken is cooked through, about 20 minutes.
3. Remove chicken and chop into bite size peices. Combine 3 tbsp water with cornstarch, and whisk into boiling sauce along with 1 clove minced garlic. Stir until thickened.
4. Add chicken back into sauce, serve over rice. Garnish with sliced green onions.

Im gonna make this one....looks good!
I adapted it from a slow cooker recipe, It was not good that way. I just made it this way last night, it was awesome!
