Peanut butter shortbreads
225g plain flour;
115g caster sugar, plus extra for sprinkling;
55g smooth peanut butter;
115g butter, cubed, plus extra for greasing.

T. Cocinado → 45 min
1. Sieve the plain flour into a bowl and add the sugar, peanut butter and butter. Rub together with your fingertips until the mixture resembles breadcrumbs. Then, using your whole hand squeeze mixture together until forms a dough.
2. Grease and line a 20cm round cake tin. Press the dough into the tin and press down with the back of a spoon. Prick all over with a fork.
Bake for about 45 minutes at 130c fan/ 150c/ gas2.
3. Whilst warm score the shortbread into 10 wedges and leave to cool completely before removing from the tin. When cold sprinkle with a little caster sugar.
