Boston cream cupcakes recipe
Ricetta di(For the cupcakes:)
2/3 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened at room temp.
2 whole eggs
2 tsp baking powder
1/8 tsp salt
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup whole milk
1 Tbsp vanilla extract
(for the filling:)
3/4 cup whole milk
1 1/2 Tbsp all-purpose flour
2 Tbsp granulated sugar
1 egg yolk
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 small pinch of salt
(Ganache)
4 oz semi sweet chocolate chips
1/3 cup hot heavy cream
1 tsp of unsalted butter, at room temp
Preparazione → 20 min
Cottura → 20 min
1. 1.Preheat oven to 350*.
2. 2.Take cupcake tin, and spray with non-stick spray.
3. 3. In a bowl with dry ingredients, mix together.
4. 4.In a another bowl, add butter and sugar: mix together.
5. 5.Add eggs and vanilla extract. Mix. Add milk, mix.
6. 6.Add in dry Ingredients in bowl, mix.
7. 7.Scoop batter in cupcake tin:
8. 8. Put in preheat oven 350* for 15 to 20 mins. Let cool compelety.
9. 9.In a saucepan, add milk,egg, yolk, flour, and a pinch of salt. Mix. Add vanilla extract. Put on stove, stirring consistially for 7 mins:
10. 10.pour custard in bowl, and cover with plastic wrap, making sure the plastic wrap is touching the custard: Put in fridge till cool:
11. 11.In a bowl, add chocolate chips, and pour in hot heavy cream. Set aside.
12. 12. mix chocolate and heavy cream, set aside.
13. 13.Take cupcake, and cut in half: scoop little vanilla cream, and put inside cupcake.
14. 14.take your chocolate garnish, and drizzle over top cupcakes. Serve.
