Braised carrots

A large bunch of organic carrots (cleaned and trimmed)
1/2 glass of dry white wine (e.g. Fiano, Soave, Pinot Grigio)
1 tbsp of sugar
A small bunch of thyme
50g unsalted butter
1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
Salt & pepper
Cold water

Preparazione → 10 min

Cottura → 30 min

1. Place all of the ingredients into a thick bottomed pan with very little space to spare and bring to the boil

2. Once the water has evaporated (25 - 30 mins.) it will leave you with sticky, shiny and delicious carrots which are a great side dish for a Sunday roast!
