Breakfast turnovers recipe
Ricetta di8 breakfast sausages
8 eggs
1/4 cup heavy cream
4 Tbsp unsalted butter,
5 scallions, trimmed and minced
1/2 cup shredded cheddar
1 tsp steak seasoning
1 salt and pepper
1 egg wash: (one egg beaten with a touch of water)
1 puff pastry dough
1. 1. In a skillet preheating over medium heat, add butter: also preheat oven to 400*.
2. 2.Add breakfast sausage: break up a little: Add scallions: let cook together:
3. 3.In a bowl with eggs, add steak seasoning: add salt, and add heavy cream: whisk.
4. 4.Let sausages cook all the way through: add another tsp of butter in skillet.
5. 5.pour egg mixture in pan: cook 2 to 3 mins. Stir entire time: till scrambled. When done,
6. 6. Turn off heat. Add cheddar cheese:
7. 7. take out puff pastry, and rolled out on floured surface.
8. 8. Take knife, and cut into 4 peices: take spoonful mixture, and put in middle of sheet.
9. 9. Brush sides with egg wash: fold over like triangle shape, and seal it by pressing it down:
10. 10. Put on baking sheet, with parchment paper: crimp ends with fork, but dip in flour (fork) before crimping:
11. 11.with a knife, make a little slit in the middle of puff pastry:
12. 13.brush puff pastry turnovers with egg wash:
13. 14.put in oven, 22 mins, till light golden brown. Let cool when done
