Coffee cake

Ingredienti per 13 x 9 pan

Cake
2 cups AP flour
3/4 cup white sugar
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 stick butter
1 egg
3/4 cup milk (approx)
1-1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Crumble topping
1/2 cup AP flour
1-1/3 cup white sugar
2 tsp ground cinnamon
1 stick butter

Preparazione

1. Preheat oven to 350F

2. Grease 13 x 9 pan

3. To make topping, combine all the ingredients besides the butter

4. Cut butter into mixture until resembles coarse crumbs and set aside

5. In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt

6. Cut butter into mixture until resembles coarse crumbs

7. Crack an egg into a measuring cup and add milk until it makes 1 cup

8. Stir in vanilla

9. Pour liquid mixture into crumb mixture and mix until just combined

10. Spread into prepared pan and sprinkle with topping

11. Bake in preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean
