Golden Cornbread di Laura McCracken - Recipefy

1 cup cornmeal
1 cup flour
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 tsp salt
4 tsp baking powder
1 egg
1 cup milk
1/4 cup butter

Preparazione → 10 min

Cottura → 20-25 min

1. Preheat oven to 425°

2. Sift all dry ingredients together. Cut in butter. Add egg and milk stirring until just blended. Let sit for 3 minutes.

3. Pour into greased pan. Bake 20-25 minutes until golden brown and toothpick comes clean when inserted into center.

4. Note: Can also be used for muffins - fill cups 2/3 full and adjust baking time.
