Mince Lamb Pie. di David Le Mottee - Recipefy

1 onion, chopped
1 carrot, chopped
1 oz of butter
1 tablespoon of olive oil
1lb of lamb mince
2 tablespoons of plain flour
4 fl oz of lamb or chickin stock
2 teaspoons of mixed dried herbs
2 tablespoons single cream
500g pack of shortcrust pastry
2 0z of cheddar cheese, grated

Preparazione → 30 min's min

Cottura → 50 min min

1. Frythe onions and carrot in the butter and oil for 5 min
util soft.
Add the lamb and fry for 5 min.
Stir in the flour then the stock, herbs and cream.
Cool. Preheat the oven to 220.

2. Roll out the pastry and line a 10in metal pie tin.
Fill with the lamb mixture.
Use the rest of the pastry to make a lid
and press to seal.
Bake for 50 minutes, sprinkling with chesse after 30 minutes.
