Watermelon-basil sparklers

300g/10.5oz watermelon
7g/0.25oz fresh basil leaves
30ml/1fl oz lime juice
250ml/8.5 fl oz sparkling water
15-30ml/0.5-1fl oz maple syrup, optional
Preparazione → 5 min
1. Puree watermelon in a blender until smooth.
Muddle the basil leaves, lime juice, and maple syrup in a pitcher.
Strain the watermelon juice through a fine sieve or cheesecloth into the pitcher.
Add ice cubes and sparkling water.
