3-ingredient decadent chocolate truffles
2/3 cup of dates
1 tablespoon of coconut oil - melted
2-3 tablespoons of cocoa or cacao powder + some more to roll the truffles
Some water to soak your dates – optional, if your dates are very dry
Prep. Time → 20 min
1. My dates were very dry, so I soaked them in water for about an hour. You can skip this step if your dates are still juicy.
2. Put the dates in a food processor and process until they become a puree.
3. Add the melted coconut oil and the cocoa powder and process again until you have a homogeneous mixture. The mixture or the dough should look like thick chocolate mousse. Try not to eat it straight from the cup!
